Changing options for Maps
Use metric or imperial units
Switch between kilometers and miles.
1. In Maps, swipe down from the top frame.
2. Tap Settings > Units of Measure.
3. Select one of the following options:
• ft/mi
• m/km
Change default route settings
If you always want to avoid certain types of routes or streets, you can change your default settings.
1. In Maps, swipe down from the top frame.
2. Tap Settings > Route Options.
3. Select the checkboxes of the types of routes you would like to avoid.
Adjust the default volume for audible directions
Change the volume of the audible directions for when you travel.
1. In Maps, swipe down from the top frame.
2. Tap Settings > Navigation Audio.
3. To adjust the volume, slide the Volume slide bar.
