1. Touch and hold a contact's name.
2. Tap Set Alert.
Change your status or profile
You can change your name or status so that your contacts know what you're doing. If you have a status that you use often,
such as when you're going on vacation, you can save it and use it again another time.
1. Tap your picture or display name at the top of the screen.
2. Type a status message in the Personal Message field.
3. If you want to appear as Busy, tap Status > Busy.
Save a status for later
Tap the Status field > Edit status messages > Add New.
Change your display picture
You can change your picture to suit your mood or show what you're doing.
1. From your profile, tap your picture.
2. Tap Replace or Edit.
Add a contact
Add other Windows Live Messenger users to your BlackBerry device to keep the conversation going wherever you are.
1. Tap the Invitation icon.
2. Type in the field or tap + to find contacts in your address book.
3. Tap Send.
