Fast search
To fast seek tuning backwards or forwards,
press and hold down the
or button
9 until fast searching backwards/for-
wards begins.
Random track play (MIX)
To play the tracks in the current directory in
random order,
press the 3 MIX button 8 once or sev-
eral times until "MIX DIR" is displayed.
The display shows the MIX symbol.
To play the tracks contained in all the direc-
tories on the MP3 data carrier in random
order,
press the 3 MIX button 8 once or sev-
eral times until "MIX ALL" is displayed.
The display shows the MIX symbol.
Cancelling MIX
To cancel MIX,
press the 3 MIX button 8 once or sev-
eral times until "MIX OFF" is displayed.
The MIX symbol disappears from the dis-
play.

Scanning tracks (SCAN)
You can scan (briefl y play) all the tracks on
the MP3 data carrier.
Press the MENU/OK button ; for
longer than two seconds.
The next track will then be scanned. "SCAN"
and the current track name are intermit-
tently shown on the display.
Note:
You can set the scan time. For further
information, please read the section
entitled "Setting the scanning time" in
the "Radio mode" chapter.
Cancelling Scan and continuing listening
to a track
Briefl y press the MENU/OK button ;.
The currently scanned track will then con-
tinue to be played normally.
Repeating individual tracks or
whole directories (REPEAT)
To play the current track repeatedly,
press the 4 RPT button 8 once or
several times until "RPT TRACK" is dis-
played.
The display shows the RPT symbol.
To repeat the whole directory,
press the 4 RPT button 8 once or sev-
eral times until "RPT DIR" is displayed.
The display shows the RPT symbol.
