Equalizer presettings
(PRESETS)
This device features an equaliser in which
the settings for the music genres "ROCK",
"POP" and "CLASSIC" are already pro-
grammed.
To select an equalizer setting,
press the AUDIO button 7.
"BASS" appears on the display.
Press the
or button < repeat-
edly until "ENHANCED" appears on the
display.
Press the MENU/OK button ;.
"E-BASS" appears on the display.
Press the
or button < repeat-
edly until "PRESETS" appears on the
display.
Press the
button 9 to open the
Presets menu.
Press the
or button < to select
one of the presettings "ROCK", "POP",
"CLASSIC" or select "P-EQ OFF" to de-
activate the presetting.
When you have fi nished making your chang-
es,
press the ESC/DIS button 5.

Adjusting the display brightness
If your car sound system is installed as de-
scribed in the installation instructions and
your vehicle features the corresponding
connection, the display brightness for day
and night is switched by switching on the
vehicle lighting. You can adjust the display
brightness separately for night and day in
steps ranging from 1 - 16.
Press the MENU/OK button ;.
Press the
or button < repeatedly
until "DIM DAY" or "DIM NIGHT" appears
on the display.
Press the MENU/OK button ; to open
the menu.
Press the
or button < to select
between the brightness levels.
When you have fi nished making your chang-
es,
press the ESC/DIS button 5.
Setting the display illumination
colour
For the display illumination, you can either
mix a colour from the RGB spectrum (red
green blue) or mix with the colours red and
green. You can also start a colour seek and
select the colour of your choice.
