To adjust the bass and treble levels quickly
and conveniently for a simple sound adjust-
ment, these settings are located directly in
the AUDIO menu. In the submenus BASS
and TREBLE, you can perform the GAIN
setting:

To adjust the bass and treble levels, please
read the chapters "Adjusting BASS" and
"Adjusting TREBLE".
To fully utilise the equalizer functions, all
other settings can be made in the submenu
ENHANCED of the AUDIO menu. In the sub-
menus E-BASS (equalizer bass), E-TREBLE
(equalizer treble) and E-MIDDLE (equal-
izer middle), you can perform the settings
FREQ (frequency) and QFAC (quality factor,
for bass and middle only) as well as GAIN
(level, for middle only):

To set the additional equalizer functions,
please read the chapters "Adjusting equal-
izer bass (E-BASS)", "Adjusting equalizer
middle (E-MIDDLE)" and "Adjusting equal-
izer treble (E-TREBLE)".
Adjusting the BASS
Press the AUDIO button 7.
"BASS" appears on the display.
Press the MENU/OK button ; to open
the menu.
Press the
or button < to adjust
the level between -7 and +7.
To exit the menu,
press the ESC/DIS button 5.
Adjusting the TREBLE
Press the AUDIO button 7.
"BASS" appears on the display.
Press the
or button < repeatedly
until "TREBLE" appears on the display.
Press the MENU/OK button ; to open
the menu.
