Performing a system test
You can also perform a system test. This test will check the GPS antenna and
determine whether the back-up signal and the vehicle ignition are connected to
the system correctly.
Select the menu item SYSTEM TEST in the Set-up menu Install,
Follow the instructions given to you by the system and
Press OK 8.
After the system test has ended, the calibration menu will appear automatically.
Displaying the GPS status and position
If you want to display the number of GPS satellites the system can current re-
ceive and your GPS position,
Select GPS STATUS from the Set-up menu Install
or
Activate GPS STATUS in the main navigation menu.
You can also allocate the GPS status function to the hotkey and activate the
GPS status at the touch of a button. For more information, read the section on
“Hotkey”.
