AGE OUT OF RANGE
The regression equation or formula used in the program of the BODYSTAT
®
1500 unit for the determination of body composition, is suited for the age groups
18 to 70 years.
Age groups outside of this range may of course still be measured (for example,
for regular monitoring of changes in body composition) but the results, in
particular the recommended or optimal results, may have to be treated with
caution.
If the age of the subject being measured is between 12 and 17 or older than
70 years, the following message will be displayed before the first output
message is displayed:
If the age of the subject being measured is under 12 years, the following
message will be displayed:
An accurately measured Impedance value and the BMI equation will still be
displayed in either of the above eventualities.
