NOTES, CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS FOR USERS
NOT recommended for Females in the early stages of pregnancy
NOT recommended for subjects with pace-makers or any
implantable electronic device.
If your BODYSTAT
1500 unit arrives in cold weather, allow the system
to warm up to room temperature before you switch on the unit.
Exposing a cold computerized system to a warm room causes
condensation that could damage the system.
Wait at least 24 hours to allow for any possible condensation that may
have formed inside the casing to dry before you operate the system.
Do NOT attempt to connect the BODYSTAT
1500 hardware unit nor the
Printer to a mains electricity supply.
This instrument is an internally powered, Type BF Applied Part device
according to IEC 60601-1.
As with any other common electronic device, the BODYSTAT
1500 unit
of Bodystat Limited emits electromagnetic energy to perform its intended
function. Nearby electronic equipment may be affected.
The device is not suitable for oxygen-enriched environments.
The device is not suitable for use with flammable gases, including
environment with flamable anesthetics.
Cleaning guidelines: the hardware unit does not have to be sterilized
but it is strongly recommended to perform periodic cleaning by wiping
with a clean microfiber cloth and follow the recommendations from local
health authorities regarding controlling the spread of infections.
