Set function
After the device is turned on, the suggested function
that has been set will appear. You can change this
setting directly with the start/stop buttonl start.
Operate the deviceYou have already become acquainted with the controls
and their operation. Now we explain how to set up the
device. You will find out what happens when switching on
and off and how to set the functions.
If you want to set another function, you will find the
precise descriptions in the respective chapters.
Switch device on and off
In principle:
1. Tap on the appropriate field. The
symbol is illuminated in red.
2. The control ring changes what is in focus.
3. Make other settings if necessary.
To do this, touch the appropriate field and change
the value with the control ring.
4. Start with the start/stop button l.
Operation starts.
Your device must be turned on before you can set
anything up.
Note: The child lock and the minute minder can also be
set when the appliance is switched off. Some indications
and indications on the display, e.g. for residual heat in
the cooking compartment, remain visible even when the
appliance is switched off.
Turn off the device when not in use. If nothing has
been set for a long time, the device switches off
automatically.
Set heating method and temperature
Switch on device
If the Types of heating function is not selected, touch
the field !. The symbol lights up red and the first type of
heating with the suggested temperature appears on
the display.
With the on/off . button ÿ turn on the device.
All touch fields light up red. The display shows the
Bosch logo and then the first heating method in
the selection list.
Example in the picture: Hot air Eco . at 195°C.

Note: You can define in the basic settings which
function should appear after switching on.

Switch off device
With the on/off . button ÿ turn off the device. A
possibly running function is aborted.
The time or, if necessary, the residual heat indicator
appears in the display.
Note: You can specify in the basic settings whether or
not the time is displayed when the device is switched

2. Tap the } field.
The temperature is in focus in white on the display.
3. Set the temperature with the control ring.
Operate
You must always start with the start/stop button l.
After the start, a time indication appears on the display
next to the settings. In addition, the ring line and the warm-
up line appear.
Stop operation
With the start/stop button l you can also
interrupt and resume operation.
When you press the start/stop l for approx. 3 seconds,
the operation is completely canceled and all settings
are reset.
Note: After the operation is interrupted or
aborted, the cooling fan can continue to run.
