Tip: Flat frozen or portioned pieces thaw faster
than if they were frozen as a block.
The defrost heating method is suitable for defrosting
frozen fruit, vegetables and pastries. It is best to thaw
poultry, meat and fish in the refrigerator. Remove frozen foodstuffs from the packaging and
place on the rack in a suitable form.
Use the following shelf level for defrosting:
Baking tray: height 1
Stir or turn the dishes once or twice in between. Large
pieces must be turned repeatedly. If necessary,
disassemble the dishes in between or remove already
defrosted pieces from the cooking compartment.
Recommended setting values
Leave the defrosted food to rest in the switched-off
appliance for another 10 to 30 minutes so that the

Keep warm
You can keep cooked food warm with the top and
bottom heating method. This prevents condensation
from forming and you do not have to clean the interior
space.
Never keep the cooked dishes warm for longer than two hours.
Please note that some dishes continue to cook while they are
kept warm. Cover the dishes if necessary. off.
