This Wiring Guide shows how peripheral devices are connected to the fire panel.
Peripheral devices that are no longer included in the product range are covered in "Part 2 -
Discontinued Products" of the Wiring Guide.
Notice!
The connections laid out in this document also apply to the FPA-1200 Fire Panel, provided
that the individual components are Bosch Sicherheitssysteme GmbH approved extensions of
the FPA-1200 Fire Panel.
Notice!
The LSN 0300 connections laid out in this document also apply to the LSN 1500 module.

Important Notes
Only use installation materials as recommended by Bosch Security Systems.
Only perform conversion and soldering work wearing a grounding wrist strap.
Assembly and installation must only be performed by qualified personnel.
Note connection criteria of the regional authorities/institutions.

Touching live components can be fatal.
Disconnect the power supply before carrying out installation.
Notice!
If a cable shield wire for the LSN cable has to be connected, then proceed according to LSN
specifications.
- Connect LSN cable shield on panel side to designated functional earth connector. The shield
of both sides (start and end) of the loop must be connected to the panel
- Loop through cable shield at all LSN peripheral devices using provided terminals
- No additional connection of LSN cable shield is permitted, neither to earth connectors at
any location nor to other electrical potential
User Notes
The wiring guide is structured as follows:
Chapter Wiring, page 18 is sorted by the device to which a peripheral device is
connected. A wiring shows the direct connection of one device to another device (no
cascading connections). Usually, shielding is not shown in the wirings. The sample wiring
below demonstrates the shielding.
