Thisvehicle isequippedwithan independentPTOwhichreceivesenginepowercontinuously regardlessof
theengagementstatusofthemainclutchanditspoweriscontrolledbyitsseparatePTOclutch.Theengine
powertodrive the PTO is delivered through themain PTOshaft (inner)(1). This main PTOshaft (inner)is
xedtothePTOsleeve(3)oftheywheelwithsplines,passingthroughthemainshaft(outer)(2)whichisa

throughthePTOdrivegearshaft(7).
As the joint (11), which is xedtothe end of the main PTOshaft with splines, engages theclutch hub (12)
andtheclutchhubisconnectedtotheclutchdiscasoneunit,theyidletogetherinanormalcondition.When
oil is drawn to the PTO clutch for PTO operation, this oil pushes the internal piston so the pressure plate
iscompressed against theclutch disc, rotating the wholePTOclutchassembly. Then, thisrotating force is
transferredtothePTOclutchshaft(5)whichisconnectedtothePTOclutchassemblywithsplines.Therefore,
thePTOdriveshaft(7)isengagedwiththejoint,rotatingtogether.
WhenthePTOsleeve(8)ismovedtotheleftforthePTO1stgearshift,thespeedofthePTOisdetermined
