• COFFEE DELIVERY
- Remove the group (A) fi lterholder and throw
away any coffee grounds remaining from the
previous brew.
- Fill the fi lterholder with a measure of coffee.
If you have a mixed-purpose fi lter you can also
insert a coffee pod instead of ground coffee.
NOTE: If you are using a professional grinder,
place the fi lterholder in its seat at the base of
the grinder-dispenser (B) and pull the lever
(C) once for one coffee and twice for a double
quantity.
Warning: always remember to pull the lever
of the grinder-dispenser fully back and then
let it return to its rest position. Make sure
that there is enough coffee powder in the
grinder-dispenser for at least one measure.
After fi lling the fi lterholder for espresso coffee,
press down the coffee powder with the tamper
supplied. Use the palm of your hand to clean
excess coffee powder from the edge of the
fi lterholder. This ensures that the fi lter holder
and the machine have a perfectly tight seal.
- Fit the fi lterholder into the group, turning it
until it is fully gripped (D).
- Place a cup under the spout. Use two cups
if using a two-cup fi lter holder.
- To start the delivery, select the appropriate
key for the desired coffee (Espresso, Long
Coffee, etc.); the selected key will stay lit while
all the others will go off; once the appropri-
ate amount for the selected coffee has been
delivered it will automatically stop.
- After the coffee has been dispensed, leave
the fi lterholder attached to the group until the
next use.
