SpindleOperation
Switch ON,
REF machine
and carry
out the
following
checks
a. Spindle
brake
i. With
the
brake switch
set
to OFF, check
that the brake
is not
applied.
ll Operate
the
spindle starter
switch
and
check
that the spindle
rotation
is correct.
If
necessary
interchange
lines Ll
and L2
to
provide the correct
rotation.
Check
that
the spindle
runs
both
forward and
reverse.
With
the brake switch
set to AUTO,
check
that when
the spindle
is switched
off, the
brake is applied
and
when
the spindle
is started,
the
brake
is released.
