Be sure to turn off the power before replacement.
NOTES:
1. Use care when handling the PROMs. Make sure the pins are properly inserted in the sockets.
2. Do not apply excessive force when mounting the PROM on the circuit board.
3. Confirm that the PROMs are in the correct position and direction.
4. Use of the special PROM removal tool is recommended when removing the PROM. If a screwdriver must
be used, be
careful not to damage the PROM socket. Carefully lift the PROM little by little from both
sides. See the figure.
