5-1-5. Required Maintenance for Long Term Storage
Necessary maintenance is different for "A. When using the printer exclusively for color printing (no white data)"
and "B. When not using the printer".
When you will not use the printer for a while, prepare for storage according to the following steps and be sure to
perform regular maintenance every two weeks. To activate the printer again, follow the steps of "C. Reactivation
after Storage".

<Note>
[GT-341 mode] is for when the White Print Head is not installed. Selecting [GT-341 mode] with the Print Head
installed omits the motion for protecting the Print Head, which may cause clogging of the Print Head nozzles.
When a White Capping Cartridge (
*1
Option, 4 pcs. For GT-381, 2 pcs. For GT-361) is installed, never activate
the printer. Doing so will cause problems with the Print Head.
In Both cases A and B, perform the maintenance every two weeks in order to prevent White ink trouble.
Wash Liquid is an essential tool for cleaning ink stains, so please keep it handy.
