4. Calculate the ‘Calibration of the Theoretical Position’ and apply it, see Figure 6.35. Click on
the ‘Advanced Settings’ tab to activate the input fields. Use the default values and change the
secondary track radius if necessary, do not alter other values. Press ‘Calculate’.

5. Press ‘Apply to Instrument’ to activate the calculated values, see Figure 6.36.

6. Start aligning the diffractometer and save the configuration after finishing.
