6.1 Service intervals
Observethestatedserviceintervalstoensurealwayscorrectandreliableoperation:
Weekly: Inspectandifnecessarydraintheservice-unitwaterseparator(seeFig.6.1/1)
Checkthatallpartsarepresent,leak-freeandundamagedandallscrewsandlinessecurely
seated
Removeadhesiveresiduesandothercontaminants,especiallyontheinsideofthecover

6.2 Cleaning
• Donotuseaggressivecleaningagentsforcleaningthedevice.Thesemaydamage
devicecomponents.
Werecommendcleaningwithparafnoil.
• Replacecompletelypartswhicharenolongercleanable(e.g.becauseofburnt-onor
reactedhot-meltadhesive).Werecommendhavingthisworkdonebythemanufacturer
ordistributor.
• Removeresiduesofhot-meltadhesiveandothercontaminantsbymechanicalmeans
only,e.g.withacloth,softbrush,woodenspatulaorsimilar.
