4.2 Charging

gloveswhenperformingthestepsdescribedbelow.
1. Placethedeviceintheworkingbracketoronthebase.
2. Switchthedeviceon(seeSection3.2).Waituntiltheworkingtemperaturehasbeen
reached.
3. Takeholdofthedevicebythehandlewithonehand(17).Withtheotherhandturnthe
lever(10)clockwisethrough180ºandswiveltheclosurecapopen.
4. Fillthetanktoalevelnotlessthan2cmbelowtherim.Themaximumlevelismarked
onthedevicewithasticker(seeillustrationleft).Donotchargethedeviceabovethis
levelsincethemeltexpandswhenheated.
5.Swiveltheclosurecapback.Turnthelever(10)anticlockwiseasfarasitwillgo,in
ordertolockthecap.
4.3 Discharging and metering melt
1. Placethedeviceintheworkingbracketoronthebase.
2. Switchthedeviceon.Waituntilworkingtemperaturehasbeenreached.
3. Checkthatthereisenoughmeltinthetank.

4. Actuatethetrigger(16)
Youcanmeterthequantitydischargedbyalteringthepressure(max.87psi/6bar)at
thepressureregulator(3)and/orselectinganappropriatenozzle.
5. Afterthetrigger(16)hasbeenreleasedthecompressed-airsupplyiscutoffimmedi-
atelyandthetankvented.
