Intended use
2 INTENDED USE
Non-intended use of the angle-seat control valve Type 2300 may
be a hazard to people, nearby equipment and the environment.
▶ Thedeviceisdesignedforthecontrolledowofliquidand
gaseousmedia.Operationispossibleonlyincombination
withasuitablecontrolunit.
▶ Inthepotentiallyexplosion-riskareatheglobevalvetype
2300maybeusedonlyaccordingtothespecicationon
theseparateExtypelabel.Foruseobservetheadditional
informationenclosedwiththedevicetogetherwithsafety
instructionsfortheexplosion-riskarea.
▶ DeviceswithoutaseparateExtypelabelmaynotbeusedin
apotentiallyexplosivearea.
▶ Theadmissibledata,theoperatingconditionsandcondi-
tionsofusespeciedinthecontractdocuments,operating
instructionsandonthetypelabelaretobeobservedduring
use.Thesearedescribedinthechapterentitled“7Technical
data”.
