6.2 DIGIFORCE

9311 device information (Properties)

6.2.1 Station properties

The "Station properties" menu contains information on the serial number, software versions, calibration

date and Fieldbus option. You can also enter here a station name, which can be useful, for instance, in

measurement data documentation. The "Communication" tab (see section 6.2.2 “Ethernet interface

configuration” on page 42) can be used for parameterizing the Ethernet interface. The licensed PLUS

version 9311-P100 additionally displays the "Measurement mode" tab in which you can make settings

and define documentation parameters for automatic measurement data acquisition (Measurement mode

function).

1 Double-click on the DIGIFORCE

9311 in the device list. The "Station properties 'XXXX‘ "

window opens.

2 Enter the parameters you require.

IMPORTANT: Under "Station properties", you

can define whether you want the

channel settings to apply globally

to all the measurement programs,

or specifically to each

measurement program, i.e. set

separately for each measurement

program. Please note that if the

"global" setting is enabled, then

any change will overwrite the

settings for all the measurement

programs. If you want the settings

to be adopted for all the

measurement channels, enable

the "Global channel settings"

checkbox. For further details on

the available channel settings,

please refer to section 6.3.2.1

“Channel settings” on page 55.

3 Click on "Communication" to activate the

settings for the Ethernet port and any access

restrictions (Host IP).
