7.3 Emergency operation
In emergency situations (e.g. in the case of a power outage), each door leaf drive unit can be converted to
manual operation (release the latch if present):
The motor brake on the affected door leaf is released.
Depending on the version, the door may be either slid manually or towed.

Motor brake is set: The door movement is normally triggered with the signal transmitter.
Manual
Motor brake is released and the latch is raised if applicable. The door can be moved manually.
During emergency operation of the door system, the safety information and warnings in chapter 3.4 Risks
during regarding manual operation must be strictly followed.
7.3.1 Switching to manual operation

Danger! Mortal danger due to electric shock from residual voltage!
Residual voltage remains at the frequency convertor output in the control system for up to five minutes
after disconnecting the supply voltage! Mortal danger due to electric shock! There is no electrical isolation
at the output of the frequency convertor, i.e. there is voltage present to PE or ground! Mortal danger due
to electric shock!
The system must be securely disconnected from the electrical network during all installation work.
Work on electrical components should only be performed by a qualified electrician.
