112 4-3 Main Points of Application
■ During operation of the vehicle, if the instrument displays a fault, please
immediately drive the vehicle to a BYD authorized service provider for
inspection.
■ When the power battery temperature is high, the vehicle performance will be
limited to some extent. In this case, stop the vehicle and wait until the power
battery temperature drops before operating.
If the SOC displayed on the instrument drops to 0, charging is required. If the
vehicle is not charged within 7 days, permanent damage to the battery will be
caused. The resulting damage to the high-voltage battery pack is not covered
by warranty of BYD.
The driving range depends on the SOC, vehicle age (current battery life),
weather, temperature, road conditions, driving habits and other factors. At
low or high temperature, the pure electric range is less than that at normal
temperature, and the dynamic performance is also affected.
Trailer Towing
■ As this vehicle is mainly designed to carry passengers. For safety of your
own and others, do not overload the vehicle or use it to tow other vehicles.
■ Towing trailer with the vehicle will have adverse effects in terms of control,
performance, braking, durability and economic driving, power consumption
and other aspects.
■ Driving safety and comfort depend entirely on the proper use of equipment
and careful driving habits.
■ BYD Auto will not provide warranties for damage or faults caused by towing
for commercial purposes.
Precautions for Safe Driving
Never drive under the influence
Even drinking a small amount of alcohol will reduce your ability to adapt to the road
traffic conditions. Drinking more alcohol will result in slower response. Therefore,
never drive under the influence.
Controlling vehicle speed
Speeding is the main cause of collision accidents involving casualties. In general, a
faster vehicle speed imposes a higher risk. Therefore, please maintain a safe
driving speed depending on the traffic conditions on road.
