Warm tip (CONTINUED)
When the vehicle has insufficient tire pressure alarm, if the user resets the tire
pressure monitoring system without ensuring that the tire pressure is normal,
the tire pressure monitoring system will be manually cleared; this will cause the
tire pressure monitoring system to fail or cause the actual tire pressure to be
too low when the next alarm is given. Therefore, make sure that the tires and
tire pressure are normal before resetting.
Reset the tire pressure monitoring system after any of the following operations is
performed on the vehicle:
■ Tire inflation pressure of one or more tires is adjusted.
■ Any tire/wheel is replaced (rotated).
■ Conduct the dynamic balance adjustment for wheels.
■ The chassis is technically modified.
■ The ambient temperature has changed by more than 40°C since the last
resetting;
■ One year has elapsed or the vehicle has traveled for 10000km.
System resetting
The tire pressure system can be reset in → "Vehicle Health" → “Maintenance”
interface of the multimedia system. Refer to the multimedia user manual for details.
Acoustic vehicle alerting system
System functions
The acoustic vehicle alerting system
(AVAS) provides alerting sound to
signal the vehicle's presence to nearby
vehicles and pedestrians when the
vehicle is running at a low speed.
■ When the vehicle moves forward:
If the vehicle speed (V) is in
the range of 0 km/h < V ≤ 20
km/h, the alerting sound will
become louder with the
increase of vehicle speed.
If the vehicle speed (V) is in the range of 20 km/h < V ≤ 30km/h, the
alerting sound will become softer with the increase of vehicle speed.
If the vehicle speed (V) is V > 30 km/h, the alerting sound will stop
automatically.
■ When the vehicle reverses, it will produce continuous and uniform alerting
sound.
