Emergency mechanical locking of vehicle
■ When the central locking
system fails, please lock the
front left door by operating
the mechanical key; for other
doors, turn the emergency
locking knobs of the right
side door counterclockwise
and left side door clockwise
with the key to the locked
state before closing each
door. At the moment, all
vehicle doors are locked and
cannot be opened by
operating the four door
handles.
■ To unlock the doors, operate the mechanical key to unlock the
front left door, and then operating inner handles of other doors
for unlocking before pulling an exterior handle to open
corresponding door.
Avoid applying excessive force that may deform or fracture the
key in operation.
PEPS System
Entry function
With an intelligent key carried with you, you can unlock or lock doors
refer to (Locking/unlocking/locating vehicle with intelligent key or
locking/unlocking with microswitch).
■ If the PEPS does not work properly, preventing entry into the
vehicle, you may unlock and lock the driver's door with the
mechanical key in the intelligent key or unlock and lock all doors
with the remote control function.
