3.3.4. Failure Liability
Carlo Gavazzi bears no responsibility for any failures or damages caused to the inverter
if the recommendations in this instruction manual have not been followed specifically
points listed below.
If a correctly rated fuse or circuit breaker has not been installed between the power source
and the inverter.
If a magnetic contactor, a phase capacitor, burst absorber and LC or RC circuits have been
connected between the inverter and the motor.
If an incorrectly rated three-phase squirrel cage induction motor has been used
Note:
When one inverter is driving several motors, the total current of all motors running simultaneously
must be less than the rated current of the inverter, and each motor has to be equipped with a
correctly rated thermal overload relay.
