2.7 UNIT SPECIFICATIONS
2.7.1 Engine Data
2.7.2 Water Temperature Sensor (WTS)
The WTS is a thermistor type sensor located on the engine cylinder head which measures the temperature of the
coolant.
The unit shuts down if any of the following conditions occur:
• Ambient is less than 120°F (5°C) and coolant temperature exceeds 230°F (110°C)
• Ambient is greater than 120°F (50°C) and coolant temperature exceeds 240°F (110°C)
• Coolant temperature stays between 240°F (110°C) and 230°F (110°C) for five minutes
