USB Method 2
The second USB method allows you to save existing custom label formats
already in the scale and then restore them. This method uses Menu 1877
Backup to USB Memory and Menu 1878 Restore From USB Memory.
Note: This method does not backup and restore just the custom label formats, it
also backs up other programmed information such as the PLU’s, Store info,
etc. Please use caution if this method is used to backup and restore
custom label formats.
Saving Custom Label Formats (Menu 1877)
1. Insert the USB flash drive in one of the two USB slots on the
communications panel located in the scale base.
2. Access Menu 1877.
3. Type in a Folder Name for the backup file and press the “Enter” key.
Notes: 1.) The Folder Name will default to a date_time of the backup if no
description is entered. [ Ex.) 09-27-17_0836 ]
2.) The first time a backup is performed on the USB flash drive, the
scale will create a folder structure to store the backup data.[ Ex.)
CL7200\Data\Folder Name ]
3.) Multiple backups can be stored on the same USB flash drive.
4.) There is no warning if an attempt is made to create a backup
with a folder name that already exists, the existing backup data
will just be overwritten.
