Chapter 1. Basic Operation
This chapter explains how to turn the scale or backlight on/off, feed the paper,
open cash drawer, and do self-test on printer.

Turning the scale or backli ght on/o ff
■ The backlight will lasts 1 minute when you use the battery as a power source.
After 1 minute, the backlight automatically turned off. If the scale senses
more than minimum weight, the backlight is automatically turned on.
Minimum weight : refer to SPECIFICATION Table on page 122.
② Press
for a while to turn the backlight off.
Press and hold it for a while to turn
the scale off.
Press ①
when the scale is turned off, then it
starts counting 0~9. Press again for
a second to turn on backlight of scale.
