CHECKING THE CONDITION OF
RUBBER TRACKS (IF EQUIPPED)
Replace the tracks in any of the following cases:
The grousers (1) are worn out, A = 5 mm min.
The steel layer (2) is visible or broken.
The metal hubs (3) are visible or worn out.

REPLACING THE RUBBER TRACKS
(CX75SR, CX80 IF EQUIPPED)
REMOVAL
1. Slacken the track tension completely. See
Adjusting the tension.
2. Place the upperstructure at right angles to the
undercarriage. Use the attachment to press on
the ground and lower the boom until the track is
raised off the ground.
NOTE: For machines fitted with the dozer blade, the
machine can be lifted by completely lowering the
blade and by using the attachment as a support on
the ground, opposite the blade.

3. Place the tubes in the notches of the track in
front of the idler wheel.

4. Operate the travel lever of the concerned track in
the reverse travel direction. Stop the movement
when the tubes are pressing against the idler
wheel.
5. Stop the engine and remove the starter switch
key.

6. Remove the track.

WARNING: Make sure that the tension
cylinder is completely slackened before
undertaking any operation.
