Using the Self-timer
You can set the self-timer to either one of two starting times.
1. Align the POWER/Function Switch with REC.
2. Press to select the self-timer time you
want.

Record 10 seconds after the
shutter release button is pressed
Record two seconds after the
shutter release button is pressed
3. Press the shutter release button to start the
self-timer countdown.
• The seconds are counted down on the monitor
screen.
• To stop a countdown part way through, press the shut-
ter release button.
NOTES
• The hand-shake limiter is enabled when you use a
slow shutter speed and the two-second self-timer at
the same time.
• You cannot use the self-timer in combination with the
Continuous Shutter Mode.
Self-timer Time Settings:
Each press of cycles through the available self-
timer settings described below.
