The following describes the general procedure you should use in order to get the most out of your cash register.
• Check to make sure that the cash register is
plugged in securely. Page 12

• Read the fi nancial totals to confi rm that they are

• Check the date and time. Page 37

How to use your cash register
• Reset the daily totals. Page 57, 58
• Remove the journal. Page 126
• Empty the cash drawer and leave it open.
• Take the cash and journal to the offi ce.
