Controlled Entry and Exit
Reader 1 can be assigned as “Entry” and reader 2 as “Exit”, or vice versa. The status of the door is monitored
by installing a magnetic door contact (reed switch). Separate wire runs must be installed for each card reader,
door contact and door locking device. With this conguration, a card and/or keypad access code will be required
to enter and exit the protected area.
