BATTERY STATUS LED
NOTE: The Battery Status LED is most visible
with the garage door opener light off. Battery
does not have to be fully charged to operate
the garage door opener.
Battery Status LED
GREEN LED:
All systemsare normal.
A solid green LED lightindicates the
batteryis fully charged.
A flashing green LEDindicates the battery
is being charged.
ORANGE LED:
The garage door opener has lostpower and is
in battery backup mode.
A solid orange LED with beep, sounding
approximately every2 seconds,indicates
the garage door opener isoperating on
batterypower.
A flashing orange LED with beep,
sounding every 30 seconds, indicates the
batteryis low.
RED LED:
The garage door opener's 12V battery needs
to be replaced.
A solid red LEDwith beep,sounding every
30 seconds,indicatesthe 12V batterywill
no longer hold a charge and needsto be
replaced. Please call for replacement
batteryto allow your systemto operate
during a power outage.
CHARGE THE BATTERY
The batterywill take 24 hoursto fullycharge. A fully charged batterysupplies 12V DC to the garage door opener for one to two days of normal operation during an electrical power outage. Once the
batteryvoltage drops too low,the batterywill no longer operate.After the electrical power hasbeen restored, the battery will recharge within 24 hours. The battery will last 1 to 2 years with normal usage.
To obtain maximum batterylife and prevent damage, disconnectthe batterywhen the garage door opener is unplugged for an extended period of time.
NOTE: Door operation may be limited until the battery is fully charged. The garage door opener lights will not turn on during battery backup mode.
