10. FAULT W/CODE DIAGNOSTIC CHART
1 Code 01276 Possible causes
［Note］After vehicle speed is over 20 KM/H, code will be set when ABS
ECU detect motor operate incorrectly.
［Method］This code may be set for loose or disconnected wiring harness
between motor and ECU. Perform code test by actuating motor using
HYDRAULIC UNIT FUNCTION TEST on scan tool.
● short to power or ground
● loose engine wiring hareness
● defective motor
Note：
If battery is over discharged, motor actuating will fail. Check if battery voltage is normal before motor actuating test.
Perform motor actuating test when vehicle is staionary.
Disconnect motor harness connector,
Connect power directly to motor connector.
Does motor operate?
O
Replace hydraulic controlled unit.
YES
NO
Replace fuse or harness.
Check fuse and ABS ECU connector
Connect motor harness.
Turn ignition to ON position.
Clear fault codes.
Perform hydraulic controlled unit test using scan tool.
YES
YES
Replace ECU
Does problem occur again?
Go to INTERMITTENT FAULT DIAGNOSTIC
