2． 1 Glass panel
One of the major parts of sunroof, installed above
mechanism group, provides excellent sealing results
when matching with upper frame and rubber sealing
strip.
2． 2 Upper frame
A plastic frame which supports mechanism group
and glass plate and helps to produce excellent
sealing.
2． 3 Mechanism group
One of the major parts of sunroof, installed in upper
frame on both left and right sides to move glass
panel. This is the operating component that tilts and
opens sunroof.
2． 4 Module and motor assembly
Covered by control panel, module has a chip that
stores programs for various sunroof functions and
motor operations. Motor provides power for opening
and shutting of sunroof.
2． 5 Chain and gear
Installed on upper frame on both left and right sides,
one end of chain and gear is driven by motor, the
other end is connected to mechanism group. They
evenly transfer the power output by motor to left and
right mechanism group, thus tilting or opening
sunroof.
