An Overview of the Products
1. An Overview of the Products
1.1 Introduction
The products of Chroma 6400 series, including 6404, 6408, 6415, 6420 and 6430, are highly
efficient AC power sources providing sine wave output of low distortion. The
microprocessor-controlled sine wave oscillator generates accurate and stable output voltage and
frequency. The PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) approach of the power stage provides full
volt-ampere and current rating to loads. The 6430 supplies power up to 3000 VA, the 6420 to
2000 VA, and the 6415 to 1500 VA.
The AC power sources of Chroma 6400 series are considerably smaller, lighter and more
efficient than traditional power supplies with similar capability of outputting power.
This manual includes the specifications, installation procedures, operation instructions and
maintenance procedures of Chroma 6430/6420/6415 programmable AC sources.
