5. Self-Test and Troubleshooting
5.1 General Information
This chapter will inform the user of the suggested self-test and troubleshooting procedures when
his AC source does not function well. If a problem cannot be solved by the information given
here, please consult the distributor who sold you the instrument.
5.2 Self-Test Routine
The 6430, 6420 or 6415 AC power source has a built-in test/adjustment program for the user to
test or adjust the instrument. Do not adjust any component without prior approval. Please
consult the distributor for the information of adjustment.
** WARNING **
Disconnect any load from the output when you use the
test/adjustment program. Any load from the instrument may cause
test failure.
5.3 Troubleshooting
The following table (on the next page) lists the problems of operation and suggests the ways of
solution.
