On mini chassis systems, a tie wrap is used to secure the power cord. See
“Installing an AC Power Cable in a Mini Chassis system” on page 2-32 for a
procedure.
Ciena offers the following AC power cables for the 3916:
• AC Power Cord, IEC C13, Europe
• AC Power Cord, IEC C13, North America
• AC Power Cord, IEC C13, United Kingdom
• AC Power Cord, C13, Universal
Note: Order one or two power cords as required for your 3916 system.
WARNING
All AC power cords must meet the requirements of the local
and national electric codes prior to installation.
WARNING
For pluggable equipment, the socket outlet shall be installed
near the equipment and be easily accessible.
