9 Connect the other end of the grounding wire to supplemental ground in
accordance with local and national regulations and safety guidelines, and the
grounding procedures used by your company.
10 Using a digital volt ohm meter, verify that the DC resistance between the
chassis and the supplemental ground source is less than 100 milliohms.
You have mounted and grounded the 3916. You are now ready to
proceed with installing the Power Cable. Proceed to one of the
following: “Installing an AC Power Cable in a Standard Chassis system”
on page 2-30 or “Installing a DC Power Cable” on page 2-34.
