4. Temperature Limit Testing

4.1
Remove test port cover. Use a 1/8” diameter non-conductive rod to
activate micro switches (start with top hole). Active switches
sequentially to perform tests listed below.

Run on "Fan Only" for approximately 2 minutes.

4.3
Under-Temperature Limit. Press/Release micro switch #1. At hose
outlet temperature of less than 29.4°C (85°F) measured using a
thermistor, the Under-temperature visual and audible alarms should
activate in less than 1 minute and the unit should shut down.
When alarm activates, Record Temperature here. ___________

Turn unit off and on. Run on "High" for approximately 1 minute.

Primary Over-Temperature Limit. Press/Release micro switch #2. At
hose outlet temperature of 52.0°C ± 3.0°C measured using a
thermistor, the Over-temperature visual and audible alarms should
activate in less than 1 minute and the unit should shut down.
When alarm activates, Record Temperature here. ___________

Turn unit off and on. Run on "High" for approximately 1 minute.

Secondary Over-Temperature Limit. Depress/Release micro switch
#3. In less than 3 minutes and at a hose outlet temperature no more
than 64°C measured using a thermistor, the unit should shut down
completely.
When unit shuts down, Record Temperature here. ___________

Turn the power switch to the off position and unplug unit. Re-secure
test port cover.
