Product Overview
The Catalyst 3550 multilayer switch—also referred to as a Catalyst 3550
switch—is a stackable Ethernet switch to which you can connect workstations,
Cisco IP Phones, and other network devices such as servers, routers, and other
switches. This switch also can be deployed as a backbone switch, aggregating
Gigabit Ethernet traffic from other network devices.
