Gigabit Ethernet Switching Modules
The ports on this switching module can be configured with any combination of
shortwave (SX), longwave/long-haul (LX/LH), and long-range (ZX) GBICs. For
a description of GBICs, see the “Installing, Removing, and Maintaining GBICs”
section on page 2-8.
WS-X4424-GB-RJ45
The WS-X4424-GB-RJ45 24-port 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet
switching module (see Figure 1-32) has the following specifications:
Note You must use Category 5 cables when connecting to the 1000BASE-T ports on
this switching module.
