PurposeCommand or Action
Enters interface configuration mode for the
specified cable interface.
interface cable interface
Example:
Router(config)# interface cable 3/0

interface to accept traffic only from the associated
ip igmp access-group access-list [version
]

allowed to access the DSG tunnels.

privileged EXEC mode.

Disabling A-DSG Forwarding on the Primary Channel
You can disable A-DSG forwarding per primary capable interface.
Procedure

Specifies the modular cable interface and enters
cable interface configuration mode. Variables for
interface modular-cable slot /subslot/port
:interface-number

Disables A-DSG forwarding and DCD messages
on the primary capable interface.
cable downstream dsg disable
