Advanced conguration
Network [1..1] IPv6 DHCPOtions
Retrieves a set of DHCP options from a DHCPv6 server.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Value space: <On/O>
On: Enable the retrieval of a selected set of DHCP options from a DHCPv6 server.
O: Set to O when IPv6 Assignment is set to Static.
Ex a m ple: Network 1 IPv6 Gateway: On
Network [1..1] IPv4 Address
Enter the static IP network address for the system. Only applicable if the Network Assignment is set
to Static.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Value space: <S: 0, 64>
Format: Only the valid IP address format is accepted. An IP address that contains letters
(192.a.2.0) or unvalid IP addresses (192.0.1234.0) will be rejected.
Ex a m ple: Network 1 IPv4 Address: "192.0.2.0"
Network [1..1] IPv4 Gateway
Dene the IP network gateway. Only applicable if the Network Assignment is set to Static.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Value space: <S: 0, 64>
Format: Compact string with a maximum of 64 characters.
Ex a m ple: Network 1 IPv4 Gateway: "192.0.2.0"
Network [1..1] IPv4 SubnetMask
Dene the IP network subnet mask. Only applicable if the Network Assignment is set to Static.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Value space: <S: 0, 64>
Format: Compact string with a maximum of 64 characters.
Ex a m ple: Network 1 IPv4 SubnetMask: "255.255.255.0"
Network [1..1] QoS Mode
The QoS (Quality of Service) is a method which handles the priority of audio, video and data in
the network. The QoS settings must be supported by the infrastructure. Diserv (Dierentiated
Services) is a computer networking architecture that species a simple, scalable and coarse-grained
mechanism for classifying, managing network trac and providing QoS priorities on modern IP
networks.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Value space: <O/Diserv>
O: No QoS method is used.
Diserv: When you set the QoS Mode to Diserv you must congure the Diserv sub menu
settings (Audio, Data, Signalling and Video).
Ex a m ple: Network 1 QoS Mode: diffserv
Network [1..1] QoS Diserv Audio
The Diserv Audio denes which priority Audio packets should have in an IP network. Enter a priority,
which ranges from 0 to 63 for the packets. The higher the number, the higher the priority. These
priorities might be overridden when packets are leaving the network controlled by the local network
administrator. Note: Requires the Network QoS Mode to be set to Diserv.
Requires user role: ADMIN
Value space: <0..63>
Audio: A recommended value is Diserv Code Point (DSCP) AF41, which equals the value 34. If in
doubt, contact your network administrator.
Range: Select a value from 0 to 63.
Ex a m ple: Network 1 QoS Diffserv Audio: 0
Network [1..1] QoS Diserv Data
The Diserv Data denes which priority Data packets should have in an IP network.
Data: A recommended value is Diserv Code Point (DSCP) AF23, which equals the value 22. If in
doubt, contact your network administrator.
Range: Select a value from 0 to 63.
Ex a m ple: Network 1 QoS Diffserv Data: 0
