[no] spr load-balance {auto | port-based}
Use this command to specify the Cisco proprietary RPR load-balancing scheme for unicast packets.
Syntax Description
Defaults The default setting is auto.
Command Modes SPR interface configuration
Examples The following example configures an SPR interface to use port-based load balancing:
Router(config)# interface spr 1
Router(config-if)# spr load-balance port-based

Parameter Description
auto The default auto option balances the load based on the MAC addresses
or source and destination addresses of the IP packet.
port-based The port-based load balancing option maps even ports to the POS 0
interface and odd ports to the POS 1 interface.
