Parameter Description
<KERNEL>
<System>
Under <KERNEL>, set the parameters for kernel logging. Under
<System>, set the parameters for system logging.
<Enable> Description: Enables or disables logging for the specified service
(kernel or system)
User Interface: Administration > Log > Log Module page, Kernel
and System check boxes
Values:
0: Disabled
1: Enabled
Default: 0
Example: Logging enabled for this service (kernel or system)
<Enable>1</Enable>
<Priority> Description: The types of events to include in the logs, from
Emergency (0) to Debugging (7)
User Interface: Administration > Log > Log Module page, Priority
field
Values:
0: Emergency 4: Warning
1: Alert 5: Notice
2: Critical 6: Info
3: Error 7: Debug
Default: 3
Example: Include Critical, Alert, and Emergency events
