6 Interface Troubleshooting
Problem Cause and remedy
Printer does not
print.
The following may be probable causes:
Print corrupted or
disordered.
Error message is
displayed and
printer doesn not
print.
• Interface cable is not
properly connected.
• Interface cable is not the
standard type.
• Communication
parameter setting is not
correct.
→ Check that the interface cable
is connected properly.
→ Replace it.
→ Set the system maintenance
mode from the control panel and
check/correct the communication
parameter value. (See Chapter 2)
