CHECKING AND SETTING THE VALVE TIMING
Engine : RFS
- Tension to : (Pulleys slackened).
- Tighten the screw of the roller (7) to 2 m.daN.
- Fit the tool [4].
- Tighten the screws (10) to 7.5 m.daN.
- Remove the tools.
- Rotate the crankshaft by two turns (Normal direction of rotation).
- Check the pegging of the crankshaft/camshaft using tools [2] and [3].
NOTE : Tools [2] and [3] should slide in easily.
- Remove the tools.
