Thissystemindicatestheproximityofan
obstacle(person,vehicle,tree,gate,etc.)
whichcomeswithinthefieldofdetectionof
sensorslocatedinthebumper.
Certaintypesofobstacle(stake,roadworks
cone,etc.)detectedinitiallywillnolongerbe
detectedattheendofthemanoeuvredueto
thepresenceofblindspots.
Parkingsensors
This function cannot, in any
circumstances,taketheplaceofthe
vigilanceofthedriver.
Thesystemisswitchedonbyengagingreverse
gear.Thisisaccompaniedbyanaudiblesignal.
Thesystemisswitchedoffwhenyoucomeout
ofreversegear.
Audible assistance
Theproximityinformationisgivenbyan
intermittentaudiblesignal,thefrequencyof
which increases as the vehicle approaches the
obstacle.
Thesoundemittedbythespeaker(rightorleft)
indicatesthesideonwhichtheobstacleislocated.
Whenthedistancebetweenthevehicleand
theobstaclebecomeslessthanapproximately
thirtycentimetres,theaudiblesignalbecomes
continuous.

Thissupplementstheaudiblesignalby
displayingbarsinthescreenortheinstrument
panelwhichmoveprogressivelynearerto
thevehicle.Whentheobstacleisnear,the
"Danger"symbolisdisplayed.
